# Treasury Cash Forecaster

**Folder:** Finance / Treasury Manager / Forecasting & Planning Assistant

## What does it do?

Treasury forecasting is its own discipline: projecting cash from AR/AP timing, debt service, payroll, taxes, and known events, then stress-testing for downside.

This agent builds the cash forecast from these drivers, runs downside scenarios (slow collections, delayed funding), and keeps assumptions explicit — so liquidity decisions rest on a defensible projection.

## Benefits

- Cash forecast built from real flow drivers.
- Downside scenarios stress-tested.
- Assumptions explicit and editable.
- Funding needs anticipated early.
- Defensible liquidity planning.

## Recommended setup

• MCP — ERP/GL AR/AP and banking data via Sheets; Slack to share.
• Skill — a cash-forecasting skill with driver-based and scenario logic.

## Installation

1. Download this file.
2. Drop it into your `.claude/agents/` folder (project or user-level).
3. Restart Claude Code.

## How to use it

Invoke it each cycle ("build the cash forecast and stress-test a slow-collections scenario"). It returns the forecast, scenarios, and risks.
