# Brand Competitive Watch

**Folder:** Marketing / Brand Manager / Competitive Intelligence Analyst

## What does it do?

A brand is defined relative to its competitors, and a Brand Manager who isn't watching how rivals position and present can drift into sameness.

This agent monitors competitor branding — messaging shifts, visual identity, campaigns, and tone — synthesizes what's changing, and flags where differentiation is eroding or an opening exists.

## Benefits

- Competitor positioning tracked continuously.
- Differentiation erosion flagged early.
- Messaging and visual shifts surfaced.
- Openings for the brand identified.
- A living competitive brand picture.

## Recommended setup

• MCP — web/social/news research and a knowledge base for the competitive brand wiki.
• Skill — a positioning-watch skill that keeps competitor profiles current.

## Installation

1. Download this file.
2. Drop it into your `.claude/agents/` folder (project or user-level).
3. Restart Claude Code.

## How to use it

Run it on a cadence ("what's changed in competitor positioning and where are we converging?"). It returns the synthesis and implications.
